The worst is when people think that being misanthropic is something which defines your entire identity.
Like hating people is the centre of their personality, their 'hatred' somehow qualifys them to be rude, miserable gits. I wonder if people like that ever wonder 'well maybe if I'm acting so miserably, that's why people don't respond to me?'
Usually when people do say things like ”I hate everyone!” or ”I hate all people!” it’s almost always sarcastic/a reaction to the extreme, I realize that. I just accidentally broke the garden rake and felt like cursing the entire population with extreme anger. We all have those spells of undeniable bitterness for everyone around them.
But the people who use it as a defining feature of themselves, well, can fuck themselves. Particularly if you are one of the people who say''I'm not racist! I hate everyone equally!!!!!!!!''
